From Casper Karma Yoga Festival
Join us for the 2022 Casper Karma Yoga Festival! Enjoy an opening group meditation, and yoga classes taught by 8 different instructors from around the Casper area, including SUP Yoga out on Alcova. Music, food, and merchandise vendors will be on scene to help make the festival even more exciting!
The intention behind the Casper Karma Yoga Festival is to promote a positive connection within our community. Each year the festival will donate all profits to a different local service or charity; creating a wave of positive karma that continues to serve others along the way.
In 2018, a group of local yoga teachers completing their 500hr Teacher Training hosted a successful yoga festival as part of their graduation project. They saw such success with the event, that several other yoga instructors from Casper and surrounding areas have joined together to keep the event alive. Having taken a 2 year hiatus due to COVID, we look forward to bringing the event back this year; bigger and better than ever.
In 2020, all proceeds were to benefit Health Care for the Homeless Clinic of Casper. Since, the 2020 Festival was canceled, we have decided to choose TWO recipients for this year’s proceeds. Health Care for the Homeless, along with Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force.
Health Care for the Homeless Clinic of Casper provides primary and preventive health care to individuals who are unhoused or in unstable housing, regardless of their ability to pay. They address the medical problems which often present as obstacles when families and individuals begin trying to get back on their feet.
The Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force is a volunteer task force that works to spread awareness, prevent suicide, and promote help seeking behavior.
