Our mission is to become the motivating force that sparks a movement toward global awareness by redefining the perception of vegan cuisine.

NuVegan Café is a family owned business with 3 restaurant locations in Washington, DC and College Park, MD. We provide catering for different events and run our food truck service seasonally. We are currently positioning ourselves to expand restaurant locations through franchising in high demand markets. Our purpose is to serve delicious vegan food that stirs the soul and be a place for cultural community building that manifest our NuVegan values.

At NuVegan café you will experience a home away from home hospitality and knowledgeable team members that enjoy wowing your taste buds with samples of our made in house prepared dishes, smoothie & juice bar, ample dining space for group hang outs with great music and occasional events.

Our food is 100% vegan prepared and made fresh in our kitchen. We serve in a cafeteria style line with a variety of food options that range from our cold raw sides like the sweet kale salad, hot side item of our popular mac & cheese, the delicious crab cake sandwich and we can’t forget the warm jumbo size cinnamon rolls as well as other baked good treats. Our food items are made with all natural and organic ingredients whenever possible, upon request we can accommodate some gluten free options.
